Case Study — Web App

NEXAPOS

Point of sale with a superadmin console

Web App NodeFlaskSQLiteJavaScript

The problem

Small retailers juggle stock, sales and staff across notebooks and disconnected apps, and owners with more than one store have no single view of how each store is doing.

What was built

A point-of-sale system with per-store feature flags, inventory, a kitchen display system, discount codes and plan limits, plus a superadmin console with global search, store health scores, cohort retention and follow-ups for pending invoices.

Full POS system: per-store feature flags, inventory, kitchen display, discount codes, plan limits, dunning, global search, impersonation banner, store health scores and cohort retention.

Challenges & solutions

Making feature flags genuinely per-store — the same codebase has to behave differently for each shop — and hardening the console's authentication after a full security audit.

Outcome

A multi-store POS with M-PESA support and one operations console for running every store.
